The (P)recital!

Ready to go! 1st up!
-No pictures allowed at actual recital

Avalyn after a great recital! "I LOVE the Stage!"

So Proud!
Daddy made it this year! He survived his first dance recital- probably the first of many!

We weren't able to find anyone to watch the babies, so they went with us. They were pretty good, we just had to keep feeding them. I only had to chase Cambria a couple times to stop her from running up the isle. We were too far away for her to see anything, but she did enjoy the music. No pictures of Ainsley, but she was quiet and in the car seat when I go the camera out- she's there you just can't see her (I do the best I can, it was quite a hectic day).

Proud Big Brother!

The rehearsal

Dance Recital 2010

This was Avalyn's 2nd year of dance. She had a wonderful year and improved so much. PRecital #2 was definently much calmer than #1. For some reason she calls it a "PRecital", I kind of gave up on correcting her and let it be. She LOVED the costume, it couldn't have been more perfect. It was beautiful, comfortable and involved 2 of Avalyn's favorite things magenta and sparkles! Avalyn was excited to be on stage and did her best to do the routine with the rest of the girls. No cameras were aloud at the actual recital- I got the video from it. I did my best at the rehearsal, but I was also trying to video tape a little of the routines. Using 2 cameras at once isn't easy, not to mention how dark it was in there and my camera skills.
Getting ready to go on stage! They were chosen to be 1st this year (that's 2 years in a row)!

The Tap routine! The first group in the recital!

A little break before the ballet routine

Avalyn and Amaya, one of her sweet dance friends!
The intro to the ballet routine (to "Love Me Tender" with Elvis). People actually gasp and then awed during the real recital when all the little girls came out together with their arms in the air on their tip toes. They did it perfectly together at the real thing- wish I had a picture of it, so sweet!

Jump in Jump out!

The end of the routine- this was one the groups favorite part of practice when they would all "go to sleep" and they giggled with excitement every time their teacher said "wake up" every time for 8 months. There was no "wake up" and giggle during the recital, but they did enjoy the ending.

Avalyn was the last one off the stage and she made sure she was able to smile and wave every time!

Just because

I have the pictures!
Avalyn dressed in something normal! Don't worry I am pretty sure we left the house with the addition of at least 2 boys, a flower and a couple of pony tails in her hair.

I just love all the little faces of Cambria, even when she isn't looking closely at something her eyes seem to wonder into space- I wonder what she is thinking about?

She does like her new plastic frames!
Obsessed with BALLOONS, even the Darth Vator type.

Playing with brother's new toys- good progress, she doesn't usually push the around like she is pretending to move them (she is usually to busy looking at every detail).

After the Party!

Since the rental place on base is closed on Sun. We got and extra day with the bounce house for free! The kids took advantage of it!

Maybe somethings there? Cheerleading? It's in the blood! She just needs to point her toes and land on her feet.

Super Hero? It is in the blood ;)

Party Time!

Gavin's 6th Birthday Party!
All were invited to Gavin's party on Sat. April 17th. It was an absolutely beautiful day! The perfect day to surprise Gavin with a bounce house for his party! There are over 25 kids plus parents. We Love having people over! I did my best to decorate for Star Wars, but Cambria was quick to grab any balloon, table cloth, napkin... oh well I tried (it's not like Gavin cared about the decorations). It was a great day with GREAT friends! Happy 6th Birthday Gavin!

Tripp in the bounce house!

a huge hit!

Ready to blow out some candles!

Eating the cake!

Gavin had been requesting YODA Soda and I did my best!

Lime sherbet, Sprite, a little apple juice, and some green food coloring. Everyone enjoyed it and there was none left over!

Opening presents! Reading the cards- so cool to be able to read himself!

Gavin and Elijah- what a fun day

Party day!

A quick football game!

Football is always better when played with your BEST FRIEND!

Make a cake- actually I baked the cake, made the filling and Kyle did the rest!

Kyle surprised be with beautiful flowers, since it was actually my 30th Birthday!
