Easter!

It was a busy day, with Easter baskets, church, lunch with friends! Didn't get a picture of all 4 together this year. Makes me a little sad, but these will have to do-

It was a wonderful day! Our small group from church came over for lunch and some Easter egg hunting!

Then we brought out the cascarones, thanks to both sets of grandparents! So much FUN!
It was a great time with some of our Nebraska "family"!

Easter Baskets!

A special Easter surprise! It was a sweet morning filled with goodies, before heading to church and spending a wonderful lunch and afternoon with friends! A wonderful last Easter in NE!

Cambria was the first to spot the goodies on the table. She stood and stared for a bit before begging for duckies. Her eyes lit up (as they always do when she sees a new rubber ducky) and she had a few new little friends! 2 new rubber duckies, 1 soft little ducky, new pj's and a picture book made Cambria's Easter morning a special time!

In her new pj's! I couldn't pass up Hello Kitty in glasses along with a random ducky!

Gavin added to his Vinalmation collection! A new pair of crocs for the summer (okay, maybe next year- they are huge), a new book (he LOVES to read) and candy filled his bucket!

Avalyn got a new pair of crock, a cd, a bunny, a James Avery charm bracelet with a "I Love You" and Easter egg charm and of course some candy!

Ainsley had a tiny little lamb, sunglasses, a swimsuit and the thing that excited her the most Reece's Pieces in a carrot shaped bag in her bunny basket!

Trying our her new bathing suit! It will hopefully get more use in TX!

Mahoney St. Park!

Spring break this year was the week before Easter. I was our plan to go to TX to find a house and spend Easter with family. After we found our house on-line and signed the contract (from NE) we decided to save our $ and stay for spring break. It was a little sad, but not too bad. We relaxed alot! The weather was cold and rainy, our passes to the zoo and children's museum have all expired. There was alot of tv, movies and play around the house. I was determined to do something that week. So we decided to take the kids to Mahoney St. Park activity center and the drive-thru zoo that's down the road. The drive-thru zoo was the 1st surprise and the kids weren't too impressed. The babies slept for awhile and the kids enjoyed hanging out of the sun-roof while we watched for animals. Now the activity center was a huge success! The kids LOVED it!

Sun roof on the car made the drive-thru zoo somewhat fun.

After we left the next surprise (the activity center) Avalyn said "next time we can skip the animals", Kyle and I agreed!

Daddy and Ainsley exploring the balls!

I tried to get all 4 in a picture.

Love seems like an understatement for how Cambria felt about the ball pit! She sat in it for 2 hrs, entertained herself, made a few friends with a couple of teenage girls who talked with her and ignored all the big kids that came in and out.

Ainsley was walking up the tallest swirling yellow slide (in picture below), I didn't think she was actually going to get all the way up there, but she wasn't coming down. Praise the Lord no one else came down, she made it to the top and slid right back down. No Fear for this little one!

The only thing we could think of when we left was why it took us 7 yrs to get out to this place! We'll be going back before the move!
