Avalyn's award!

 6 times a year there's an all school rally (each) highlighting one of the school's 6 pillars of characters!  This pillar was on being Trustworthy.  There is a program by one of the grades and then each teacher gives an award to 1 student in their class.  The award is a complete surprise to the student, but the parents are notified so they can attend.  I was so excited when I got the email!  Avalyn has worked so hard this year at school and her behavior has been wonderful, I think this was program #3 or 4 so she was wondering if she'd get it.

 Mrs. Adam's class is always 1st (Avalyn says that's because her teacher's the best) and Avalyn jumped right up- we sat way in the back so she would see us.

Yes! That's Cambria!  We had no clue she was going to be there and we had been there for a while before we looked in front of us to see her sitting quietly. She sat still and quiet the entire time!

Her class left early (before the awards), to help from the confusion of all the kids.  When she got in line and turned around she finally saw us.  She started jumping up and down, I gave her a hug and she left quietly with the class!

Once Ainsley saw Avalyn she would not stop screaming "Ava", she was so excited and so was Avalyn!

End of Basketball season 2012!

 Gavin had a great season of basketball this year- he now wants a career in the NBA playing for the Spurs (we'll see about that).  This season would have not been possible without Grandpa!  Kyle was busy with school and Grandpa was able to take him to practice and games when he couldn't!  So thankful to have help around here!

Valentine's day 2012

 Not too much going on this Valentine's Tues.  MOPS for me and Ainsley, Avalyn stayed home sick with Mau Mau while Cambria and Gavin went to school.  Avalyn was feeling better after sleeping most of the morning and was up and hanging out with the babies in the afternoon.  We always give the kids a little gift (that I never get pictures of) and a little bit of candy.  No candy allowed at their school, but they brought home lot's of cards and Mau Mau and I let them have some sweets!

It was a sweet day and Kyle and I got to end it with a date night.  I can honestly say I can't remember the last time we did that on Valentine's day!  We are so blessed to be near family!



Fairies, Cheerleaders and buckets of fun!!!

 Cambria now is going to school in the mornings with the rest of her class.  She is doing so well, they felt it was time to have more interaction with all the kids- in the afternoon most of them were napping.  She now gets on the bus around 7 and gets home around 11.  To be honest, I was a little sad about the change, I miss my mornings with her (Ainsley) and the afternoons with Ainsley to run errands and get more done.  Oh well, she's adjusted well and I am getting there, I do get to sleep in with Ainsley and the girls and I manage to go on an occasional outing.

 On this day Tinkerbell was on TV and I decided to bring out the costumes for the girls!  They were so excited to be fairies and dance around, every now and then looking at the movie.

 This is a typical sight around here- Ainsley running and screaming from Cambria!  She's not always innocent, she often takes a toy away, picks one up and taunts her sister with it or the poor thing has something ripped from her hand (that's most of the time and most of the time she's will to fight/run screaming for it).

 Cambria does love her LaLa Loopsy dolls, this one Avalyn got for her birthday and then gave it to Cambria!

 One of the girls wanted this costume on and I quickly remembered we have 2!

 I got them to hold eachothers hands (while watching tv).  These 2 continue to show more affection to eachother, most of the time on command, but occasionally on their own!

 Cambria just had to try to squeeze into her new pink bucket, good thing I had 2!
