T- BALL! 2010

We were finally in town this year for t-ball! After trying gymnastics, swimming, soccer, soccer, gymnastics again, soccer and flag football, we were kind of wondering if it was his age or if he would catch onto any sport. He finally did, he LOVED t-ball and he got it. We had visions of him picking grass in the outfield and eating sand, but he actually watch for the ball, caught the ball and enjoyed hitting it. He asked to go play all the time! It looks like baseball is in our future and he will definitely try football again- his goal is to play with a helmet and a crowd and hopefully he will get the rules as he gets older. Way to Go Gavin!

The team (Gavin is standing up on the far left next to his coach)- yes they all look alike, we had a hard time finding him on the field sometimes.

Good Game, Great Season!

One of the first games:
T-ball at Offutt Air Force base

Daddy catching all the babies, who do not want to stay still.

enjoying a snack

going for the ball! He loves this part, we were afraid he'd pick grass or get distracted but he really likes to go after the ball.
Still learning not to fight over the ball- Gavin got it this time!

Gymnastics!

It has been awhile. I had surgery on my foot 2 weeks ago and am not able to walk on it for 6 weeks. I've been in bed alot and using our smaller computer (I can't upload pictures on it). Avalyn had her last night of gymnastics right before my surgery, so here are a few pictures.
Getting ready! Hair done!
She was thrilled with her outfit of the day and wanted to take a picture of it before she changed for gymnastics- she was not happy to wear the blue gymnastics t-shirt she was supposed to wear.

Holding one of her babies!
Stretching
Ainsley had fun being squirmy at the show.
Ready to start! I did my best to dress up her shirt with ribbons, rhinestones and spray glitter all over- she wanted "sparkles".

Her floor routine- cartwheel, arabesque

Walking to beam.

Waiting her turn

No fears- she likes the beam!
I have no pictures of vault- it was quick and I was video taping and taking pictures.

Probably one of her favorite events- bars!

Receiving her medal!

So Proud!

Avalyn and Claire
Of course a picture with Big Brother!
This was Avalyn's first year of gymnastics and there are sure to be more she LOVED it! She wanted to go everyday and stay as long as they let her- too bad it was less than an hour long, once a week. She took it on base and had a wonderful coach- we will miss her next year! Don't know if she has the talent of her Aunt Kathryn, but as long as she is having fun that's all that matters!

Playing and Painting

A fun little game I found Avalyn playing with Ainsley the other day.

Ainsley was very happy playing this game!

Playing in the messy living room- so much fun!

One of Avalyn's favorite things to do, painting!

Avalyn in her "painting" room (the laundry room), she could do this all day. I even set up a still life this time, it of course was painted underneath the top coat of all the colors mixed together. I let her do whatever she wants on the painting, I just like to see her happy doing it!

9 Happy months!

Ainsley Brooke is 9 months! She is growing so fast and is doing great! My baby just can't seem to slow down. She is crawling everywhere, pulling herself up, standing up by herself (for a little bit), feeding herself, clapping and waving. So many milestones already hit! She is such a happy sweet baby!

Princess Ainsley- Avalyn likes to think of herself and her sisters as princesses.

NEW Bikes!

New bikes, finally! Gavin's bike was a 12" and Avalyn has never had a bike- she used Gavin's tricycle. We don't do too much riding around here, our driveway is on a slope and our house is near the turn of the road and of course the weather here has not been great. We aren't on a busy street (most of the time) and we are down the street from a park with a bike trail, so as long as Kyle or I can get out of the house they can ride (not been too much since Cambria and Ainsley have come around). We surprised them last week, kind of like Christmas- but with better weather for riding bikes!
We have had the bikes for awhile now, but we were waiting for Gavin to get big enough and the weather to warm up.
I bought Gavin's bike over 2 years ago, on clearance for $15 (down from $60), but it was a 18" so we had to wait till he was 6. I was just glad it was red, his favorite color! He was very excited, but kind of wanted a bell (like Avalyn's).
Avalyn's I bought at Christmas time on sale and with a coupon. It is a 12" and she is just about too big (she pretty tall for 4), this would frustrate me more but we have 2 more girls! You can't beat all the baby storage, bell and streamers!

I went in and got him sunglasses after I took the picture.

The Girls

The girls have a few things that match, but they don't seem to ever have them on at the same time. Avalyn was very excited when I put all the shirts on the girls and they were "triplets"! We were not going anywhere so I thought I'd attempt to take a picture.

Cambria playing in the toy bucket!

with a duck of course!
