3 months, finding her hands, a Daddy's girl!

Ainsley is now 3 months old- can you believe it?
I was able to capture her finding her hands last week. This is truly a little blessing- it took Cambria around 9 months. It's amazing all the things we recognize developing in little Ainsley after watching Cambria.

Ainsley touching the toy on the swing. She likes the swing in the morning- wish she liked it more the rest of the day.

Ainsley LOVES her daddy! She smiles for him the most and loves to just sit with him. It's about time we have a Daddy's girl- I am Loving it! I don't think Kyle knows quite what to think- he's used to the kids calming down with me (and to think he wasn't sure about having a 4th). It's so sweet!

An Attempt

at a family picture on dedication Sun. Oh well, maybe we will have better luck for our Christmas picture.

Ainsley's Dedication

This was the picture we used as her dedication picture- they put a projected picture on the big screens while they dedicate each child.
We dedicated Ainsley at church last Sunday, Nov. 8th. It was an eventful morning, but we thought we had made it to early service on time! We were a little shocked to walk into the service and find all the families on stage. The usher handed Avalyn and Gavin a coloring sheet and pencil and some how Cambria ended up with a program in her hand. I turned around and said let's go, so we all made our way to the stage. I looked at the clock when we got on stage and we were just a few minutes late- we found out later we were supposed to be there 15 min. early. A little embarrassed, a little frustrated, and a little sad, but not a big deal nothing seems to go perfectly around here but the goal was accomplished. We were able to introduce our little sweetheart to our church and ask for their support in helping guide us in raising Ainsley to walk with the LORD. We have been so blessed by our wonderful church here in Omaha and have dedicated all 4 of our children there.
Of course I couldn't believe I didn't have a chance to give someone my camera before we got on stage, but it worked out fine. Some of our friends from our Sunday group were also dedicating their little boy and their parents had taken some pictures- now if only we were all standing together (but we were all there). We did actually have video of it, thanks to Kyle's friend Ryan who came down from Minn. for the weekend and managed to get the video camera out in time.

And just for fun- More pictures of Ainsley!

and sisters (in their owl outfits)

I was so excited to find all 3 owl outfits at GAP on clearance- I got the pants and tops for all 3 girls for $20, now if only they would all look at the camera and smile in them.

Pictures...

This blog will probaby take me awhile (and several blogs) and there will be lots of pictures. My neighbor and friend Brooke came over on the afternoon of Halloween and took pictures of the kids. She did a great job and I am so happy to have these special moments. Of course taking pictures of 4 kids 5 and under and having a very sleepy infant doesn't make for the easiest time, but it's the way things are around here- never perfect, but always precious!
