A little time in SA

After spending some time in Hawkins, we headed to SanAntonio to spend a little time with my parents and see a few friends before heading back to Denton for Hadley's 16th Birthday party. It was great to be in SA again, Kyle and I do love it there. My parents home looks great after all the improvements they've made over the past year. We look forward to returning again and seeing everything completed.

they had a lot of fun breaking the new tub in

Watching Toy Story! This was Briley's first time and he fell in love, just as Gavin did at his age.

Family picture time!

Such a pretty family!

Aunt Betty and Great Grandpa fed Ainsley her first solid food. She wasn't sure about it, but they got a bit down her. She is growing so fast!

Christmas day in Hawkins

The Blue Family picture! This was just about everybody that was there on Christmas. It was wonderful to see everyone. My camera was set on a random setting that brought out the blue. I didn't change it, because it is my Grandma's favorite color and so much in her home is blue- so why not have a blue family picture! I miss everyone so much and cherish the time we do have together.
Gavin and cousin Philip

Gavin and Mo- so cute, we were looking at old pictures and it was amazing to see how much Gavin looks like my cousin Mo did as a little boy.

Hadley and Hayden and Great Grandpa

A new tv! We love you Grandpa and Grandma!

Meeting Hunter!

Ainsley got to meet a few new cousins at Christmas. My cousin Philip and his wife Dare's little boy Hunter is a month older than Ainsley. Baby Brenner, my cousin Jeremiah and his wife Jennifer's little one, was also there but they left before we took pictures of the babies together. I look forward to watching these sweet babies grow up together, hopefully someday we will live closer and we will see them more.

Christmas 2009

I am determined to finish these Christmas blogs (don't worry after this there is only one more). It was such a wonderful Christmas in Texas and I won't to share some of the memories. Christmas morning was at my sister Christine's house in Denton, TX. I absolutely Love everything about Christmas with my babies, children bring out the magic and true spirit of Christmas- Jesus did come as a Baby! Happy Birthday Jesus, we love You and Praise you and Thank you for coming to this world to bring us Salvation!

Ready to go!

It's time! Merry Christmas!

My Scooter!

Avalyn had a great Christmas, she got her pink Barbie scooter and pink Leapster from Santa. Her Fancy Nancy doll was a big surprise to her from MauMau and Grandpa! Of course she had to change in the middle of opening presents into her new Minnie Mouse shirt.
Ainsley on her 1st Christmas! She got a great little giraffe chew toy, that she will have to pry from Cambria's hands (don't worry I bought a second one and for now she doesn't mind sharing at all).
Santa brought him the new BUZZ Lightyear- he'd been asking for it and was thrilled to see it. The Transformer helmet was a big hit, everyone had fun playing with it over Christmas.
Can I play with this? He was shocked by this gift from Kyle and I, it is an old fashioned Star Wars shooting game. I am not crazy about him playing with guns and we only have a nerf gun and a couple of water guns, so this one took him by surprise. We assured him it was okay and he loves it, it is simple enough for him to put in the tv and play himself.

Cambria didn't open anything and wasn't really interested in much of Christmas morning, but did LOVE all her new toys (and Ainsley's). This was her little worm from Santa and after she got it she went into another room to play by herself with it. She is still loving all the gifts she got for Christmas.

So much fun to celebrate Christmas with cousin Briley- those were Gavin's PJ's, so cute to see him in them!
