Good Bye Sidney :(

The Vails have become our close friends over the years. Melinda and I have supported each other through countless deployments and they have helped with the kids so much! It all began after I gave birth to Gavin, Andy and Kyle caught up with each other at work they had gone to the Air Force Academy together (Andy is the year behind Kyle). He was single at the time, we had him over for dinner and for some reason kept in touch despite being in a different squadron and Kyle being deployed quite a bit. He helped watch Gavin, when I was at work out, while Kyle was deployed- he was our first baby sitter. Then he married Melinda and we had them over.

Once they had their first Sidney we hung out more and more, Avalyn and Sidney quickly became best friends. The past year they have spent alot of time together! News of their move to Germany was bittersweet, we were happy they were going to be seeing the world, but sad that we were loosing such good friends and Avalyn would be saying good bye to her first best friend. The 2 and half weeks before they moved we they stayed in our basement! Their stuff was shipped to Germany and our basement was much larger than any TLF. It was wonderful to have them around, kind of crazy having 10 people in one house for so long- but as I've said before we LOVE having visitors!

The girls spent every moment together and couldn't have been more happy about it! We did quite a bit before they left, sweet and sassy's, VBS, Water camp and church, children's museum, pizza machine, the pool, the movies and a special girl's night out! We started out with a surprise trip to Build-a-Bear! They each picked out their own "bear", an outfit, shoes, panties and a purse. The special part was putting each others voice in each bear. They can hear each other whenever they want too! We ended the night at Olive Garden. These special moments will be missed!

Yes, she dressed herself- as always!

A Very Special friendship!

Ainsley and Carter- they had so much fun together. They were so curious about eachother and enjoyed talking to eachother and grabbing at eachother. Such cuties!
