Last Day at Disney Day 6

Our last day at Disney World was a Saturday, so I left it completely open to relaxing! It was a great time. The women (and Avalyn) did a little shopping and we spent most of the day out by the pool! I got a few pictures of our wonderful resort, but none of our room (it wasn't looking it's best by the end of the week). The resort was beautiful, peaceful and very quiet. Our room was perfect for us. We had 2 bedrooms, a living/kitchen/dining area, 2 bathrooms, 1 cal King bed, 2 Queen beds, a sofa bed, and a washer/dryer. Our room was right by the main pool, store, bus stop and reception area. It was the perfect little home for the week- we could have been there longer!

We were on the 1st floor!
The POOL!!! It was such a wonderful place. We spent quite a bit of time there all week, but I only got the camera out on the last day. There were activities for the kids during the day, music and movies every night. On several evenings we sat by the pool, while the big kids swam and we enjoyed a movie and relaxed!

This was Ainsley's first time swimming in a big pool. She LOVES the bath, so I figured she'd love the pool and she did!

The slide was a huge hit with all the big kids!

Avalyn could be in the water ALL the time!

I took a lot of pictures of Cambria, but this was a little milestone for her! She liked the bath when she was an infant, but after a couple months was terrified of the water. Last year she wouldn't go near any pool. This summer she discovered her love for throwing things in water and will at least stand in the bath without freaking out. It took her a bit, but she was very curious about this pool. She worked her way onto the ledge and eventually made it to sit on the second ledge by the water where she sat at over an hour. She enjoyed dipping her toys in the water and eventually her foot made it in! Kyle tried to take her in the water, but she was not okay with that- maybe next year. It was a special time to watch her try and enjoy something new!

Gavin spent most of his time in the pool without the life jacket- he is constantly improving on swimming and does really well considering he hasn't had swim lessons since last year. He did enjoy wearing the life jacket for a while to go across the huge pool!

Ainsley Loved her first time swimming!

This was the first time Cambria repeated "cheese" when I was taking her picture (and the only time since)! She was such a great traveler and loved her first time at Disney! (I think she wants to go back)
Avalyn, Stacia, Grandma and I did a little shopping at Downtown Disney in the morning. We enjoyed picking out Christmas ornaments, eating more ice cream at the Ghirardelli shop, and making the big kids custom Mickey Mouse Ears (Avalyn designed her own). This worked out great, because Gavin had wanted a Toy Story theme mouse ears and they didn't have any at any of the parks while we were there. They were about $12-15 a piece and the kids loved them!

This was truly a dream family vacation!
