Progress

There's been alot of development progress going on around here!

Cambria-
She's been doing wonderful! She's loving school and is showing improvement in so many areas. She continues to repeat more and more words. She started coloring while we were on vacation. We noticed her finally pick up a crayon work, put it on paper and look closely at what she's doing. She continued her new found love of coloring at home...on the walls. I didn't get a picture of her doing it, we thought she was coloring on her piece of paper and the next thing we new all our walls in our entry way and hall way were colored with her art work. She was so proud and didn't want to give up her color. We soon learned if she had a crayon, she would head for the wall. Not a lot of coloring at home for Cambria. She does enjoy doing it at school and has even done some finger painting at school.

The bath! Cambria hasn't liked the bath since she was a few months old. She would scream and scream constantly, bath time was quick for Cambria. This summer she discovered she liked throwing things into the water. For months she would just stand in the bath, if we sat her in the water she would freak out. Just the other day she sat down in the water, on her own! She LOVES the bath now, talks about bubble bath all the time and the screaming happens when we take her out.

Ainsley tackles the stairs! We have gates on all our stairs, Ainsley can go up them but didn't quite get how to go down them (safely). The gate to the basement was left open the other day. I watched Ainsley turn around and finally go down them properly- I actually got a picture of it! She's doing great and it feels good to be gate free (well, most of the time)!

Gavin and Avalyn have started playing with the neighbor kids more. We let them walk to their friends houses (if they are invited). This is a little on the scary side for me, but we keep and eye on them and they stay with each other.
