Gavin and Avalyn were thrilled to ride one of Great Grandpa's horses. Gavin Loved every minute of it. Grandpa taught him how to get on and off the horse and how to steer. He was so happy! I took way too many pictures, but here are a few.
Avalyn wasn't too into it when it came time for it- she loved it last fall when we were at the apply orchard, but for some reason this time she wasn't happy. She did have a donkey step on her foot the day before, so maybe that scared her.
We let Cambria have a try, but nap time and riding a horse weren't a good mix- maybe next year.
